GOALKEEPER Cameron Darling is the Seagulls’ fourth summer signing.
Cameron joins from Buckley Town, for whom he made 21 appearances in all competitions last season, including the Bucks’ 1-0 win over the Bay at Globe Way in the JD Cymru North in August last year.
He came through the ranks of Connah’s Quay Nomads’s academy and was part of the U19 team that won the JD Cymru Premier Development North League.
The 19-year-old was recently part of the Cymru North squad which beat their Cymru South counterparts to qualify for the UEFA Regions Cup.
Cameron said:
“As soon as I got the phone call I knew it was going to be a hard opportunity to turn down.
“After meeting with the gaffer and seeing where he wants to take the club, it was a no brainier.”
Manager Steve Evans said:
“He’s a young, hungry goalkeeper with lots of ability who wants to develop and grow as a player.
“His attitude to work hard, push and test himself to get to the next level was impressive when I spoke to him.
“I’m looking forward to working with Cam and seeing him develop and grow as a player and person.
“Welcome to the Bay Cam!”
