Experienced defender Danny was signed from Connah’s Quay Nomads where he spent five years, winning two Cymier Premier titles, two Nathaniel MG Cups and was in the squad that reached the Irn Bru Scottish Cup final in 2019 as well as featuring the Nomads’ European campaigns.
Having come through the ranks at Tranmere Rovers, he has had spells with TNS, Newport County, AFC Fylde and York City (where he was an FA Trophy winner), as well as loan spells at Southport and Fleetwood.
He is the brother of Bay’s assistant manager Tommy Holmes and is now also part of the coaching team.
