WORK has now started on constructing the new 1,000 seater stand at the 4 Crosses Construction Arena.
During the past week the two existing covered terraced stands on the bank side of the ground, which were constructed in the late 1980s, were dismantled.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be a sixteen to eighteen-week period of build.
Work on the car parking area at the rear of the ground, which will have space for up to 200 vehicles, is also underway.
Over the coming months the ground’s landscape will be changing and that means for safety reasons fans are asked to stay away from that part of the ground on matchdays as construction work continues.
