Director of Football and First Team Manager, Mike Wilde commented: “It’s always a difficult time of the season when you have to say goodbye to several players who have given their all for the club, but it’s part of football and we want to place on record both our thanks and best wishes to those players leaving us.
“It’s probably a great testament to the group we have had in the season just gone that we see the majority of the squad retained for the coming season, and that gives myself and the coaching staff a really solid base to move forward with.
“Of course as a club we are ambitious both on and off the field, and we want to continue to progress in both aspects, and I know that the planning ongoing across all areas of this football club will drive that progression year on year.
“We’ll now be looking forward to revealing some exciting additions to the squad in the coming weeks before we return for an exciting pre-season schedule.”
