FOUR goals in the space of seven first half minutes by Samantha o Carroll led the way as Colwyn Bay Ladies opened their season with a 5-0 away victory at Prestatyn Town Dragons in the North Wales Coast Women’s Recreational League.
Samantha opened the scoring for he defending champions after 11 minutes at Bastion Gardens, with an assist from Jodie Parry, and got a second goal three minutes later, with Anna Jones providing the assist.
A third goal followed on 16 minutes, assisted by Lisa Thomas, and Ffion Morris provided the assist for Samanthat’s fourth goal on 18 minutes.
Colwyn Bay hit the league’s maximum winning margin just before half-time with Anna Jones scoring the fifth goal from Sian Roberts’assist.
