COLWYN BAY LADIES opened the new season in the NWCFA Recreational Women’s League with a 5-0 victory over Penmaenawr Phoenix Ladies Yellows at Eirias Park.
Jaide Ang and Samantha O’Carrol both scored twice with Anna Jones getting the other goal for the Bay.
The next game is away to Conwy Borough Ladies on Monday September 15 at the Go Goodwin Stadium in Llandudno (7:15pm).
The Cowlyn Bay ladies squad was: Ashleigh Kite (G), Samantha O’Carroll, Jaide Ang, Anna Jones, Jodie Jones (C), Sian Roberts, Laura Roberts, Sophie Heap, Ffion Morris, Katie Webbern, Larah Jones, Shannon Williams.
