COLWYN Bay Ladies played their first pre-season friendly on Thursday evening against a strong Kinmel Bay team and won 4-2.
Bay goal scorers were Anna Jones, Jodie Parry, Sammi Faye and an own goal.
Manager Glen Houston said: “I’m extremely proud of the ladies tonight.
“It’s our first pre season friendly and some of the football played was a joy to watch.
“Kinmel Bay including some first team players but the ladies applied themselves superbly.
This is definitely a strong platform to build on for the upcoming season. I’d like to thank Kinmel Bay for a really competitive game.”
