FOUR Colwyn Bay players helped the Tim Rhanbarthol Cymru side to a fantastic 8-0 victory over Swedish representatives Gothenburg in the UEFA Regions Cup games being played in Northern Ireland.
Team captain Sam Downey scored twice in the second half, Dylan Allshorn had a goal and two assists and Matty Hill and Jamie Cumming also played.
However, an 80th minute own goal rescued a 1-1 draw for Czech representatives Zlin in their final match against Northern Ireland’s Eastern Region and they finish the week unbeaten and one point ahead of Wales in the Group 4 table.
