WE ARE pleased to announce that midfielder Rhys Nash has signed for the club.
Rhys joins from Mold Alexandra, a club he has played for since 2015 and for whom he was part of the side that won the FAW Amateur Trophy in 2022.
Last season Rhys scored two goals in 27 appearances in the JD Cymru North as Mold finished fourth.
The 31-year-old also captained Mold to success in the Welsh Blood Service Cup last season, with victory in the northern competition final against Llandudno and in the national final over Briton Ferry Llansawel, in which he scored one of the goals.
Rhys came through the Airbus academy and was still a teenager when he made his senior debut for the club in the Cymru Premier in the 2010/11 season.
He also represented Welsh Under-18s Schools in the Centenary Shield.
Rhys said:
“The plan wasn’t really to leave Mold this season but when Wildey rang me we had a few chats over the phone and his ambitions over the next 3-5 years really enticed me.
“Obviously the Bay are a classy club so it was hard to really turn it down.”
Welcome to the Bay Rhys!
