COLWYN Bay won their first pre-season friendly, with a 4-0 win against Bala Town at Maes Tegid on Saturday.

Louis Robles scored against his former club to give Bay the lead inside the opening 15 minutes.

Bay were further ahead four minutes later through Matty Hill, whose effort was assisted by the wind.

Robles was denied a second goal when his penalty was saved by the Bala keeper.

Jordan Davies scored the third after the interval, netting a cross from Uniss Kargbo from close range.

Bay wrapped up the win with a fourth goal with 10 minutes remaining.

Assistant Manager Danny Harrison said after the game: ” Lots and lots of positives as you can imagine from a 4-0 win.

“Coming to Bala is always a tough fixture whether its pre-season or in the season.

“We got through a lot of what we wanted out of the game, so really positive and we move on to next week.”
