CHAIRMAN Neil Coverley has confirmed that he will be stepping down from the role at the end of the season.
Neil, a former Bay captain, was appointed chairman in August 2019 following the death of Bill Murray.
He had returned to the club as part of Alan Morgan’s coaching team before stepping up to became assistant manager in September 2018 under Craig Hogg.
After accepting the club’s invitation to become director of football, he joined the board of directors in 2019.
“I’m very proud of what we have achieved at the club over the past few years,” Neil said.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has helped me during my time in charge, in particular fellow officials, volunteers and in particular the supporters.
“But I will be stepping down at the end of the season because of family and work commitments.
“The focus between now and then will be on our remaining games in phase two of the season and our bid to stay in the JD Cymru Premier.
“Let’s back Steve and the team over the coming months. Seagulls!’
