COLWYN Bay Football Club can confirm that Brian Madden has today stepped down from his position as Chairman and resigned as a Director of Colwyn Bay Football Club Limited.
Brian has agreed to continue supporting the Club during a transitional period until 31 October 2026 assisting with the handover of his existing operational responsibilities and helping to ensure continuity during the transition.
Brian said: “After a great deal of consideration, I have made the difficult decision to step down as Chairman of Colwyn Bay Football Club and resign from my position as a Director.
“This has not been an easy decision. Colwyn Bay FC means a huge amount to me, and it has been an enormous privilege to serve as Chairman of a club that is so important to its supporters and its community.
“I have agreed to remain around the Club as Operations Manager during the coming weeks to help with the operational handover and ensure as smooth a transition as possible.
“I am incredibly proud of many of the things we have achieved during my time as Chairman and extremely grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way.
“Although my time as Chairman has come to an end, my support for Colwyn Bay FC certainly hasn’t.
“Once a Seagull, always a Seagull.”
The Club would like to thank Brian for his contribution and commitment during his time as Chairman.
