GWION Dafydd scored a hat-trick as Colwyn Bay secured a first win of pre-season with a 7-0 victory over AFC Crewe at the 4 Crosses Construction Arena on Tuesday evening.

An own goal inside the opening 10 minutes set the Bay on their way.

Gwion scored two well taken goals from close range to extend the Bay’s lead before Jamie Cumming netted with a clever chip over the keeper on the stroke of half-time.

Three further goals in the second half – including Gwion’s hat-trick goal and a Tom Weir header for the seventh – completed the win.
