COLWYN Bay Ladies FC are delighted to announce a partnership with Her Game Too Cymru.
Founded in May 2021, Her Game Too is dedicated to tackling sexism and promoting gender equality within the world of sport.
Recognising the pervasive challenges faced by women and girls in sport, Her Game Too strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can enjoy and participate in sports without fear of discrimination or harassment.
Her Game Too Cymru’s mission is to:
- Spread the principles of Her Game Too throughout Wales
- Raise awareness about inclusivity in football
- Champion diversity at football matches
- Influence policies and practices that promote inclusivity and diversity
Her Game Too works with clubs, supporters, organizations, the Cymru and Adran Leagues in Wales, and the English Football League
Colwyn Bay Ladies FC was re-formed in August 2024 and play in the North Wales Ladies Recreational Football League.
Team manager Glen Houston said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have the partnership with Her Game Too confirmed.
“Myself and the club are really looking forward to working together with Nic and her team to help promote the importance of equality and inclusion.
“We want to create a safe welcoming environment and drive positive change.
“I firmly believe we have the perfect platform and foundation to do that and make a real difference.”
