THIS is an important message to fans from North Wales Police concerning the Boxing Day game away to Bangor 1876:
WE will be patrolling at the Cymru North football fixture between Bangor 1876 & Colwyn Bay FC being played at Nantporth on Boxing Day, kick off 12:30pm.
Temporary Inspector Andy Davies said: “Officers will be patrolling the city centre, upper Bangor, and stadium areas to support the event and assist in the safe arrival and departure of supporters.
“Those who are travelling by car, please utilise the designated onsite parking at the stadium and University car parks. Please note that there will be no permitted parking along Holyhead Road.
“The fixture will be by payment on the gate only. Supporters for each side will be segregated and managed by club stewards and SIA security. Please note that there will be no sale or consumption of alcohol at any time whilst inside the ground.
“We hope that everyone attending the boxing day fixture enjoys the game. However, I would remind supporters from both clubs to always act responsibly and respectfully of each other.”

Dywedodd yr Arolygydd Dros Dro, Andy Davies: “Bydd swyddogion yn patrolio canol y ddinas, Bangor uchaf, ac ardaloedd y stadiwm gyda’r nod o gefnogi’r digwyddiad a chynorthwyo’r cefnogwyr i gyrraedd a gadael yn ddiogel.
“Gofynnir i’r cefnogwyr hynny sy’n bwriadu teithio mewn cerbyd i’r gêm i ddefnyddio’r cyfleusterau parcio dynodedig ym meysydd parcio’r stadiwm a’r Brifysgol. Sylwch na fydd parcio yn cael ei ganiatáu ar hyd Ffordd Caergybi.
“Bydd rhaid talu wrth y giât i fynd i mewn, fodd bynnag, bydd cefnogwyr yn cael eu gwahanu y tu mewn i’r stadiwm a’u rheoli gan stiwardiaid a swyddogion diogelwch SIA. Na fydd hawl gwerthu nag yfed alcohol ar unrhyw adeg y tu mewn cae chwarae.
“Gobeithiwn fod pawb sy’n mynd i’r gêm ar ddydd San Steffan yn mwynhau, fodd bynnag, hoffwn atgoffa cefnogwyr y ddau glwb i ymddwyn yn gyfrifol a pharchu eraill bob amser.”
