WE welcome goalkeeper Joe Smith to the Bay, who has joined from Chester on loan.
Joe has spent pre-season with the Bay as we prepare for the forthcoming campaign in the JD Cymru Premier and made his debut in the Nathaniel MG Cup win over Airbus.
Chester-born Smith joined his hometown club in 2013 as an Under-10 and progressed through the Blues Academy.
He featured in the first team squad on several occasions during the 2021/22 campaign.
Jiff spent the whole of last season on loan with Ashton Athletic in the North West Counties Premier Division.
Manager Steve Evans said: “Joe joins us on loan from Chester having impressed during pre season.
“It’s great to get Joe over the line. He’s settled in really well throughout pre-season.
“He’s brought a calming influence behind our defensive line with his commanding performances.
