A GOAL by Samantha O’Carroll gave Colwyn Bay Ladies a crucial 1-0 win over top of the table rivals Eglwysbach Queen Bees to leave them needing just a point from their remaining two games to finish champions of the North Wales Women’s Recreation League.
After a goalless first half, Samantha broke the deadlock with the match-winning goal which puts Colwyn Bay in a very strong position at the top of the table and still boasting an unbeaten record this season with 12 wins and two draws from 14 games played.
They can now clinch the title when they play away to Mochdre Lionesses at Mochdre Sports Club on April 27th.
