TWO goals from Craig Linfield helped the Seagulls extend their unbeaten run to eight games with a 4-2 away win at Denbigh Town.

Tommy Creamer and Dan Atkins were the other Bay scorers.

Colwyn Bay started the game well and were in front after only five minutes when Tommy Creamer netted from a rebound after Denbigh keeper Aaron Jones had made a brilliant save to keep out Lloyd Marsh-Hughes’ header.

Denbigh equalised with Keelan Williams’ shot from the edge of the area beating Rhys Williams, but five minutes later the Bay were back in front with a diving header into the bottom corner of the net by Craig Linfield.

Just before half-time Linny got his second of the game, diverting the ball into the net when a corner caused confusion in the Denbigh defence, to put Bay 3-1 up at the break.

Lloyd Marsh-Hughes fired a shot just over the bar after a good run early in the second half before Bay made it 4-1 on 75 minutes with Creamer’s back heel finding Ethan Roberts and his low cross was turned in by second half substitute Dan Atkins.

Rhys Williams had earlier made a good save from Nathan Brown’s free kick, but sloppy defending did allow Denbigh to pull a goal back in added time through Sam Duffy.
