COLWYN Bay Football Club is delighted to announce that manager Mike Wilde and assistant Danny Harrison have both signed new three-year contracts with the club.

Mike and Danny were appointed as Bay’s management team in May 2024.

Their first season in charge has seen the Bay locked in a title race with Airbus UK Broughton in the JD Cymru North.

Mike Wilde said: “Myself and Danny are really pleased and excited to extend our terms at the football club.

“The club share the same ambition, vision and objectives as ourselves, therefore it was a no brainer to extend our stay at this fantastic club.

“There are many reasons to commit longer terms to the club, and the fanbase is one of the main reasons why we want to continue with this project.

“The support over the past year is something unique in the Welsh system and was a major factor to continue the work that we are doing here.

‘We now look forward to planning and building on what we have already started here for the future of the football club.

“It’s exciting times at Colwyn Bay Football Club – I’m made up to be a part of this project and fantastic football club.”

Danny Harrison said: “We are extremely pleased to extend our contracts at Colwyn Bay.

“Since we took over in the summer the support from the board and of course the fantastic fans and has been absolutely first class and we are grateful of the opportunity to put pen to paper on an extended deal.

“We still see this opportunity as a continuation of the project we started in the summer of last year and looking forward to the climax of this season and what that brings.

“We are extremely excited about things moving forward, however we will be putting all our efforts into the remaining games of the current campaign.”

Colwyn Bay chairman Brian Madden said: “Since their arrival last May, Mike and Danny have built a great squad and steered the team in the right direction.

“We truly believe in the culture that Mike is building here at the club, and securing both him and Danny for the next three years demonstrates a strong commitment from both the club and the coaching team.”
