THE Seagulls have made another big addition to their squad by re-signing last season’s top scorer Mitch Bryant.
The 30-year product of Manchester United’s Academy, scored 14 goals in 26 appearances for Colwyn Bay last season and is returning to the club after spells with newly formed Bury AFC and most recently NPL side City of Liverpool.
Due to the pandemic, all Northern Premier League fixtures have now been cancelled until March, with a possibility that their season could be declared null and void.
The Seagulls and other Cymru North clubs are continuing to make plans for a possible restart some time in February- until they are told otherwise.
Manager Craig Hogg commented: “I am sure everyone is as pleased as I am with the announcement that Mitch is returning to the football club.
“Mitch was brilliant for us last year. he was our top scorer, assisted in many other goals and won my manager’s Player of the Season.
There were many instances during the last campaign where his performances in a Bay shirt were exceptional
I know how much he is looking forward to returning to the Bay and replicating that form for us again.
For the moment we continue to plan that our season will be starting at some point – until we are told otherwise.”
