Manager Steve Evans has made the first appointment to his back room team.
Academy Director Matt Sampson is stepping up to take up the role of first team coach until the end of the current season.
Matt said: “Delighted to be given this opportunity. Those that know me, know my long connection and admiration with this fantastic club.”
