OWEN THOMAS scored an 88th minute winner to give the unbeaten Colwyn Bay U21s a 1-0 victory away to Holyhead Hotspur Reserves in the FAW National Reserve League North.

That is three wins and a draw from the first four games for Paul Edwards’ young Seagulls.

The game looked to be heading for 0-0 draw, but Owen broke the deadlock two minutes from the end of normal time with Sammy Bourne providing the assist.
