NATHAN PEATE headed the match-winner as Colwyn Bay gained their second pre-season victory with a 3-2 home success over Rhyl 1879
The Seagulls took an early lead after just five minutes with Declan Poole getting the final touch after good build up play.
Rhyl equalised with a super finish from Dan Cockerline, but Adam Davies scored for the second successive game to put the Bay 2-1 up at half-time.
The management team again made wholesale changes in the second half to give as many of the squad as possible valuable match time and Rhyl snatched a second equaliser with 20 minutes to go, only for Nathan to score Bay’s winner with a classic header.
