JOEL GIBLIN came on as a second half substitute for Sam Hart in the game against Bangor 1876.

Connor Williams caught up with Joel, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Ruthin Town, after the game.

“I obviously got my first opportunity under Evo and got my debut in 2022 against Holyhead and since then I’ve been really enjoying it,” Joel said.

“I’ve learnt a lot off the players and more recently Wildey’s come in and we’ve been training really intensely and that’s helped me develop again with the players he’s brought in.

“I think I got 15 games for Ruthin last year in the Cymru North which I feel like I benefited a lot from being around that level, getting experience in the men’s game.

“I really really, enjoyed it. Great group of lads, great management team and nothing but appreciative for all the guys there.

“I think that’s helped me improve.

“Players in the changing room are great and all help me, especially Joe Williams and Jay Owen the most.”
