LOUIS ROBLES scored the only goal of the game as Colwyn Bay beat 10-man Caernarfon Town 1-0 at the Blue Turtle Arena to move back into the top six of the JD Cymru Premier.
The goal came after 21 minutes and Caernarfon then had captain Dan Gosset sent off for a bad challenge on Aeron Edwards.
Caernarfon started the game very strongly and former Bay midfielder Sam Downey twice went close, while Bay keeper Alex Brown made a good close range block to deny Adam Davies.
But as Bay started to come more into the game Issa Kargbo fired a shot from the edge of the area over the bar from an Ethan Roberts cross, before Louis Robles got the only goal of the game, scoring from close range following another good cross from Ethan Roberts.
Dan Gosset forced a couple of good saves from Alex Brown before being red carded on 36 minutes for his challenge on Aeron Edwards.
Only a string of fine saves by Caernarfon keeper Connor Roberts, including two from Jordan Davies free kicks, then prevented the Seagulls adding more goals and Canaries defender Matty Jones was lucky to only get a yellow card after bringing down Jordan Davies when he was clean through on goal.
Substitute Uniss Kargbo hit the bar after having his shot saved by the keeper, but it was the ten men who finished the game the stronger and Matty Jones and Sion Bradley both went close to snatching a late equaliser, while Alex Brown made a good save from a Bradley free kick.
The Bay, however, held onto the three points and go back into the top six, ahead of Barry Town United on goal difference.
