Johnny Carmichael

THE club is saddened to learn of the death of former player, trainer and supporter Johnny Carmichael at the age of 77 following a long illness.

As a player Johnny had an association stretching over a period of 15 years with the club which included captaining the first team. He was later a trainer/physiotherapist.

Johnny also had a spell as player/manager of Rhos United in the 1970s.

A civil servant, Johnny was also a talented all round sportsman, playing cricket for home village Mochdre and also played bowls and golf.

Colwyn Bay FC wishes to extend their deepest sympathy to Johnny’s family and friends.
