TWO more players who were virtual ever-present in the Bay’s double-winning squad, vice-captain Sam Downey and versatile Guto Williams, have agreed to re-sign for the club next season.

Sam, 29, has made 63 appearances and scored five goals for the Seagulls since signing from Llandudno in January 2020 and has come back strongly to be a key member of the squad after missing the last four months of the 2021/22 season with a broken leg.

His experience, having played at Conference North level with North Ferriby and Corby Town, will be huge as Bay move into the Cymru Premier.

Guto, 23, was involved in all but three of Bay’s title winning games last season, making 23 starts in all games, and has had experience of Cymru Premier football with Cardiif Met University while studying there, being in the squad that qualified for the Europa League in 20128/19.

So far six of last season’s squad have committed to signing up for the 2023/24 campaign.
