The 21-year-old, who played his junior football with Menai  Bridge Tigers, joined Caernarfon in 2019 from Bangor City, where he scored over 40 goals for the Under 19 Development squad before progressing to the first team. He also starred for Ynys Mon when they won the gold medal in the 2019 Inter-Island Games, beating Guernsey in the final at Holyhead.

Bay manager Craig Hogg commented: “We are really pleased to have agreed terms with Sam and to be bringing him to the club.

“He has been training with us for a number of weeks and is an exciting talent who can operate in any of the front positions.

“I have been very impressed with Sam. He works incredibly hard, has good quality and will no doubt terrify defenders with his electric pace.

“I’m sure that Sam can become a success here at Colwyn Bay. He is joining a big club and it is a stage I think he could thrive on.”
