WE are delighted to confirm that captain Sam Hart, goalkeeper Rhys Williams and defender Sol Forde have signed on for next season in the JD Cymru Premier.

The three players were key members of the side which won the JD Cymru North title, which saw the Bay lose only one league game all season.

It will be Sam’s fourth season with the Bay having joined during the summer of 2022 and he was appointed captain last summer, taking over from Tom McCready.

“I absolutely love it here, love being captain and love playing for Mike and Danny,” Sam said. “It’s a perfect match so it was an easy decision.”

Sol had an impressive campaign after joining from Flint Town United last summer and was named Manager’s Player of the Season and nominated for the JD Cymru North Young Player of the Season.

“I’ve absolutely loved it from the second I came in,” Sol said. “It was an unbelievable season.

“We deserved it to be honest – all the hard work we put in throughout the week and the hard work the management put in to give us that detail and go 29 games unbeaten was amazing.

“After the season we’ve had and playing for this club it was quite an easy decision to come back for another year after speaking with the gaffer. We’ve just got to push on now as much as we can.”

Rhys also joined from Flint Town United last summer and kept 14 clean sheets as the Seagulls secured the JD Cymru North title.

Sam, Sol and Rhys, along with manager Mike Wilde, will attend the 2025 FAW National League Awards in Cardiff next weekend.

Sam has been nominated for Player of the Season, Sol is on the Young Player shortlist while Rhys is the JD Cymru North Golden Glove winner.
