THE Seagulls failed to complete a hat-trick of wins in the JD Cymru Premier for the first time as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Cardiff Met in front of a Blue Turtle Arena. crowd of over 900.
Two headers hit the bar, the ball was cleared off the line on other occasions and visiting keeper Sam Seager made a series of fine saves for the Cardiff side, who made it four games unbeaten – having won the previous three.
Seager made saves from Lewis Sirrell and Ethan Roberts, while Jamie Cumming headed over the bar from a corner and Ethan blasted a chance high and wide before Jordan Davies’ header hit the bar from a right wing cross in the first half.
After the break Seager saved again from Lewis Sirrell and clawed out another cross from under the bar, before Aaron Williams’ header came back off the woodwork from an Ethan Roberts cross.
Late in the game Owen Davies fired a good chance over the bar and Seager saved again from Ethan Roberts as Bay strove in vain for a winning goal.
The Seagulls, however, stay in fifth place in the table, three points ahead of Barry Town, Cardiff Met and Bala, who all dropped points.
