COLWYN BAY Under-19s were unable to defend a 2-0 half-time lead as their top of the table game away to unbeaten Llandudno Reserves in the FAW Reserve League North West ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday evening.
The young Seagulls, however, became the first team to take points off Llandudno this season and remain three points ahead of them at the top of the table – although Llandudno do have two games in hand.
The Bay got themselves in a good position with Max McGoona finishing off a good run with a well-taken finish to put his side in front after 22 minutes and Ben Roberts added a second from long range eight minutes before half-time.
Llandudno, however, came out strongly in the second half and two goals in the space of eight minutes from Levi Montgomery and Harry Dodwell levelled the scores and although Colwyn Bay finished the strong, they were unable to find a winner.
