COLWYN BAY Reserves went top of the FAW Reserve League North with a 2-1 home win over Airbus UK Broughton Reserves at the Blue Turtle Arena to extend their unbeaten record to seven games (six wins and a draw).

The young Seagulls were in front in the first minute through Tom Attewell and maintained that lead to half-time.

Max McGoona doubled the lead on 64 minutes from an Owen Thomas assist. and although Airbus pulled a goal back from substitute Jayden McConnell to set up a nervy last 10 minutes, the Bay held on to take the three points.

The win puts Bay Reserves top of the table a point ahead of Llandudno Reserves, although they have played a game more.
