📅 Our talented Under 19s faced familiar opponents, Flint Town 19s, in their second pre-season match today.
🤝 Having known each other well from previous encounters, we anticipated a tough challenge, and our young squad rose to the occasion, giving their all on the field.
👏 With 5 or 6 players unavailable for selection, it provided an excellent opportunity for extended minutes, allowing our squad to gain valuable experience and sharpen their skills.
🎯 The game posed a different challenge from Wednesday’s match, but our players displayed an exceptional performance for significant periods, particularly during the first half when we created numerous goal-scoring opportunities!
💪 As Flint Town pressed, our team showcased resilience, staying composed and focused, while also maintaining a positive style of play to create chances at the other end.
⚽️ With goals coming from the impressive trio of Charlie Smith, Aaron Forbes, and Joel Giblin, each contributing to our great display.
