Colwyn Bay Football Club are delighted to confirm the appointment of Daniel Skillen as the club’s Football Development Manager on a full-time basis.
With a strong background in youth and academy systems in addition to education, Skillen will combine his role within the first-team coaching staff to oversee the progress of the club’s Academy, player development pathways and ‘one club’ approach across all of the club’s mens and women’s teams.
Speaking about the appointment, Director of Football, Mike Wilde, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Daniel Skillen into the role of Football Development Manager.
“This appointment represents a huge step forward for the football club and provides that integral link between the first team and the elite phase for our emerging academy players.
“Daniel’s experience and vision will be vital in ensuring a clear pathway for talent development and long-term success across all levels of the club.”
Dan will officially start his role on June 1st 2026.
