MANAGER Mike Wilde says Bay supporters can play their part as the team bid to bounce back against Airbus UK Broughton at The Blue Turtle Arena on Friday night.
Wildey acknowledged last Saturday’s defeat against Caernarfon was disappointing but he believes the backing from supporters on Friday night can lift the team.
“They’ve been absolutely unbelievable from minute one since I’ve come into the football club,” Wildey said.
“We’ve based our success over the past two years heavily on their input, on the fact that they create this absolute cauldron of an environment to opposition not wanting to be here.
“Therefore it helps the lads on the pitch and gets an extra percentage out of not just the players but from management as well.
“And a Friday night atmosphere here is something that Airbus won’t be relishing.
“But it’s something that we do and it’s all down to the fans and the way they support us through thick and thin.
“They have done over years and years of this famous football club, but I can only speak for the time that I’ve spent here and they’ve been fantastic and continue to be,
“We’re all pushing in the right direction and the same direction as well to get the objective, which is to be as successful as possible and to improve on last year.”
