COLWYN BAY’S Development team suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat awy to Connah’s Quay Nomads in the FAW National Academy Development League North.
Henri Austin gave Nomads a 33rd minute lead which they held to half-time.
Efan Bowden-Williams equalised for Colwyn Bay early in the second half, from an assist by Ben Fisher, but Joseff Jasper got the home side’s winner on 66 minutes and Bay could not find a second equaliser.
