TWO goals conceded in the closing minutes denied unbeaten Colwyn Bay U21s a fifth win of the season in the FAW Reserve League North as they saw a 3-0 lead disappear in a 3-3 draw at Mynydd Isa Reserves.
The Young Seagulls led 2-0 at half-time with skipper Toby Jones opening the scoring after 39 minutes, from an assist by Oscar McGoona, and then Josh Jones doubled the lead with a 43rd minute penalty.
The points looked safe when Josh Jones scored again, from Cian Macko’s assist, after 56 minutes, but the home side made a remarkable comeback in the last 20 minutes.
Harry Lambert made it 3-1 on 73 minutes and then substitute Ewan Grice scored in the 88th minute and again in added time to rescue a point for his side.
