DAN ROBERTS netted a late, late winner, four minutes into added time, to give the Seagulls a priceless 1-0 victory over Haverfordwest County to maintain their 100 % home record and consolidate their top six spot in the Novira Cymru Premier League.
In a fairly lack-lustre first half in which neither side showed too much quality on the ball, although Louis Robles saw a good chance land on top of the net instead of in it, Colwyn Bay started to dominate in the second half and had a strong penalty shout turned down.
Visiting keeper Ifan Knott held onto nearly everything that came into the his area and Haverfordwest defended well against mounting Bay pressure.
To their credit the Seagulls kept pushing and deep into added time got their reward when Dan Roberts got the winner following a long throw into the goal area by substitute Matty Hill (coming on late on for his 100th appearance for the club).
It was a solid performance by the Bay defence in front of a crowd of 1,231 at the Blue Turtle Arena, as they kept their fifth clean sheet of season.
