COLWYN Bay had to settle for a 2-2 draw as Northern Premier League Division One West side Stalybridge Celtic twice came from behind in a pre-season friendly at The Blue Turtle Arena.

Bay took the lead after 13 minutes when Aaron Williams sets up Louis Robles, who placed the ball in corner of the net.

But Stalybridge levelled from the re-start with Jack Irlam scoring.

The Bay made five changes at the interval and it was one of the substitutes, Josh Carey, who put the Seagulls back in front.

Jamie Cumming’s effort was saved and Carey blasts the rebound in off the underside of the bar.

Stalybridge equalised with six minutes remaining through Dylan Scott.
