Cameron Darling, Jordan Carrington, Sam Downey, Dylan Allshorn and Matty Hill all started as Wales lost 2-1 to the Republic of Ireland in a friendly in Cork.

The Cymru North will represent Wales in the Uefa Regions Cup after they beat their Cymru South counterparts in May.

The friendly was part of preparations for the tournament, which will be held in Northern Ireland in October.

Wales’ opponents in Group 4 will be teams representing the hosts Northern Ireland, Sweden and the Czech Republic.

Former Bay striker Callum Parry, who left Llanrwst for Porthmadog over the summer, also started.
