COLWYN Bay are pleased to announce the signing of winger Dylan Allshorn.
Dylan was recently named the JD Cymru North young player of the season after an impressive season for Holywell Town.
He scored five goals in 26 appearances as The Wellmen finished the 2021/22 campaign in fourth spot with the club also reaching the last eight of the Nathaniel MG Cup. He was also on the shortlist for the Cymru North player of the season award.
Dylan, who also played for Wrexham Youths and Flint Town United, was recently part of the Cymru North squad which beat their Cymru South counterparts, scoring in the second leg, to secure a place in the Uefa Regions Cup.
Dylan said:
“I’m looking forward to the new challenge for the coming season and excited to be at the club working with Steve and the players
“Looking forward to playing in front of the fans too and to take the club forward to where it belongs.”
Bay manager Steve Evans said:
“I’m really excited to agree terms with Dylan.
“He was the standout player for the league last year. Winning ‘young player of the year’.
“His explosive pace and end product continuously caused defenders and teams trouble.
“I’m really looking forward to working with Dylan.
“He’s got a lot of good attributes and has the potential to kick on again.
“He’s young with a willingness to learn and want to develop as a player and person and I believe he’s chosen the right club to help him achieve his potential.
“As a club we are trying to build a squad capable of challenging for the league and we believe Dylan will certainly help us do that.
“His directness and exciting play will certainly get the Seagulls fans on the edge of their seats.
“Welcome to the Bay Dylan.”
