COLWYN BAY have bolstered their injury-hit squad by signing midfielder Tom Creamer from Conwy Borough.
The 22-year-old was previously progressed through the ranks at Wrexham prior to his release and was a key part of Conwy’s treble winning side of 2017/18. He then had a successful spell at Rhyl before returning to his home town club Conwy in June last year.
Manager Craig Hogg commented: “Tom is a young local and exciting player who can operate in the forward attacking positions.
“He joins us from Conwy and was previously at Rhyl where his performances were very good indeed.
“We look forward to seeing him in action for us and his addition is much needed with the current injury and illness situation.
“Sion Edwards is now side-lined with ankle ligament damage and Cai Owen has gone down with tonsillitis and is a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Penrhyncoch.
“Ilan Hughes is already out with a broken rib and Jordan Carrington with a fractured collar bone, while Gwion Owen has seen a specialist regarding his knee injury and is awaiting results.
“We are optimistic, however, that Kristian Platt may be back at some point in early to mid-September following his knee injury.
“His diagnosis isn’t as bad as previously thought and he continues with his physio work and rehab.”
