THE Seagulls were unable to defend a 1-0 lead as they conceded two goals in the last 20 minutes to lose 2-1 at home to Haverfordwest County.
Matty Hill had put the Bay in front 10 minutes after the break, but they were left still awaiting their first league win over the season.
After having to make a late change, with Lloyd Marsh-Hughes replacing Uni Akpan, Bay started the game well with Marsh-Hughes seeing a header held by Haverfordwest keeper Zac Jones and Nick Rushton just failing to latch onto a great ball into the box.
The visitors, however, bossed the last 15 minutes of the half, hitting the bar and the post and firing a great chance over the bar from six yards.
Manager Steve Evans made changes at half-time and the introduction of Tom Creamer and Cai Owen brought more energy to the Bay side and they took the lead when Matty Hill slotted home after a knock-on by Jamie Cumming.
Tom Creamer had a shot deflected for a corner, but all the good work since the break was undone when Bay gave the ball away in their own half and Jack Wilson rolled the ball across for Kai Whitmore to score at the back post to pull the visitors leve on 70 minutesl.
That took the wind out of the Bay and Haverfordwest snatched an 87th minute winner from Martell Taylor-Crossdale when a corner caused confusion in the Bay area.
