COLWYN BAY FC is pleased to confirm that captain Tom McCready will be staying on at the club for the 2023/24 season in the Cymru Premier.

The 31-year-old joined the Bay in 2019 having initially signed on loan from AFC Fylde earlier that year.

Tom spent a spell with Runcorn Linnets during the first half of the 2020/21 season but re-joined the Bay in January 2021 and is club captain.

Macca scored 11 league goals in our JD Cymru North title winning campaign and last weekend was named JD Cymru North player of the season.

“Macca is a fantastic player but an even better person and he’s the skipper for a reason and has led the team magnificently,” manager Steve Evans said earlier this week.
