WE are pleased to announce the signing of defender Nathan Peate.
Nathan joins from Bala Town where he spent five seasons and was captain last season.
The 34-year-old made 145 appearances for the Lakesiders, scoring 21 goals and he featured in five European campaigns with the club.
He had joined Bala from Cefn Druids in the summer of 2020 having been a member of the team that secured a Europa League spot in 2018.
Nathan spent four seasons with Druids and has also had spells at Llandudno and Denbigh Town.
Nathan said on leaving Bala to join the Bay: “It was a tough decision but I just think where I am in my career it’s time for a new challenge and a bit of a change.
“There’s a lot of thins going on at Colwyn Bay at the moment and they’re exciting times so I wanted to come on board.
“It’s a tough league and there’s not going to be on easy game but it’s about sticking together as a team.
“But with hard work and dedication hopefully we can stay in the league.”
