BAY MANAGER Steve Evans says the team will take plenty of lessons from the loss at Connah’s Quay Nomads in the JD Welsh Cup.
The 4-0 defeat was the first time Bay had lost this season and the club’s first defeat since losing 1-0 to The New Saints in last season’s semi-final in March.
Bay resume their JD Cymru North campaign on Friday evening when they host Holyhead Hotspur at the 4 Crosses Construction Arena.
“We’ll take the hit,” Steve said following the loss to Nomads at Deeside Stadium on Saturday.
“It’s a learning curve and we’ll go again and pick ourselves up.
“We’ll get back to it on Wednesday in training, address things and straight into it again on Friday against Holyhead where we’ll look to put things right.”
